The afternoon wind around the Commons made the handmade paper feathers lift, turn and twist creating interesting patterns. People had attached them to the large nest in the Commons and to small nests that will be sited in trees along Route One in Point Reyes Station. One of the volunteers, Diana Marto dressed up as a bird and was assisting others in tying the feathers onto nests in the Commons.
