    • Thank you. The elk are nervous around people. Understandably they run off if you get too close. The trees gave me some cover even though they still could hear me.

  1. Very nice! I used to live in and near Eugene, Oregon. We frequently saw elk along the Umpqua River just outside of Reedsport and also just north of Cottage Grove (about twenty miles south of Eugene). I very, very much miss Oregon!

    • It is good hearing from you and thank you for spending so much time wondering through my blog. I’m sorry it took me awhile to reply. We had a 12 hour drive from Oregon to the SF Bay Area yesterday.
      Oregon can be special. I’d visited Eugene because my sister used to live there. Being on the coast has been interesting and a great place to photograph.
