Oh, very nice !
Rajiv, thank you.
That is lovely! Great shadow play and very nice b&w conversion. A winner.
thank you. I really appreciate your words of confidence. I’m still not confident of the b&ws that I’m trying to do.
I think it is the hardest part of digital photography; decent B&W. I try it now and again but I’m never happy with the result. I find most B&W photos look like colour pics turned into B&W.
True, I’m using Light Room 5 and Nik software to help do the conversions.
Delicate photo, Tim; with the lightspots on her face and the shadow of the hat on her shoulders.
Thank you I was not too sure about this image. The color version might have been better with more variation.
For me this photo is about light and shadow; B&W is perfect for that. (if I may suggest; I would enhance the contrast a little for stronger light-shadow and make a crop over the top of the hat, to get a more intimate focus on the woman’s face and the light-shadow play. But these are details; it begins with seeing the photo; which you did very well).
Thank you for suggestions. I tried increasing the contrast and cropping closer to the hat. It does look better. Anytime you see things that will improve my photos please let me know. Thanks again.
Love that little light on her face!
Also, thank you for stopping by my blog(:
Thank you and you are welcome.
