Construction in Taiwan is booming and there is a high demand for metal scaffolding vs. the old bamboo. Installation and removal demands skillful and strong workers. Those workmen who are overweight stay on the ground rather than risk falling or causing the whole scaffolding to collapse.

Renovation in Taiwan means removing concrete walls. Concrete is a cheep material and is commonly used in buildings. You can’t image what it is like to live in or next door to a building when this is taking place.

We were out selecting a Christmas tree from a local tree farm. My granddaughter Sarah brought her stuffed owl and was putting it in a small tree. She had had her nails painted with red and green colors and with a snowman on each thumbnail. Happy Holiday to everyone.
