Wow, these are gorgeous!!
Thank you, John. We had some rain in Northern California and more forecasted. There was a break in the weather and I took these images with the sun out. Within a couple of minutes the clouds covered the sun and it started raining hard that evening. I’ve not been back but suspect that these leaves are mostly down. Timing. A wiser person than me said, “Don’t pass on a picture.”
such pretty pics!
Beautiful study in an Autumn colour.
simply magnifique, Sir… I love yellow, too! 🙂
Thank you. Interesting yellows. Thanks for the link
Top one looks best, perhaps one brown leaf amongst the yellows on the bottom image would emphasise the yellow even more.
Great observation. I’ll have to clone one in or change the color. No return shooting. All blown away.
My friend is brilliant at Photo Shop, but I’m a purist. Having said that I’m delighted to see creativity by others, especially if you can’t guess there’s been a manipulation.
Very true. Even in the darkroom photographers manipulated images. This was particularly true of photographers like Ansel Adams.
