Beautiful tonality, Timothy.
Barry, thank you.
This is an absolutely stunning photo capturing the essence of traditional tea. The light, angle, and placement of objects are all in synchronicity. The shadows are lovely… Really, very nice!
Terry thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to comment. It greatly appreciated.
You’re welcome. I couldn’t pass that photo in my reader with just a like!
Great as a BW Tim! One of the nicer one’s in Cole’s collection, too.
Thank you. Leanne Cole’s Monochrome Mad is a good group. It is open and you should consider submitting a monochrome image. I hope all is well in California.
Your treatment of this subject shouts South-east Asia. I like the scale of the scene and the whole is enhanced by that lovely dark, textured wall set against the delicate vase of twigs.
John thank you for your comments. I photographed this tea set from different angles but this view seemed to be the best. I too found the wall to be most interesting. They have constructed these adobe walls in many places throughout the building.
Cool. I’m strolling through your images and as I am, I’m sipping a big mug of matcha — which is my morning ritual, complete with tea whisk.
Mitch, t is nice to offer the connection.
