Thank you. This was a challenging place to take the Milky Way. The light pollution from NY City and Western Long Island was extreme. It flooded the right side of the image. I was pleased it turned out as well as it did.

Wow, Tim, what an impressive photo especially as you illuminated the poles in the foreground. Great photography!

Thank you John. I enjoy doing light painting and this was a good opportunity. The light pollution was pretty bad. It was like having a nearly full moon. No red head lamp was necessary. It also meant that lighting the poles required less light that normally required.
