I like the mischievous look in her eye.
So do I. Some photographers would not use the photo because of the desire to remain anonymous. I think it creates a higher degree of intimacy. You’re thoughts.
I think the look in her eye adds to the mood of the photo; adds more emotion than if there was no eye contact. That makes it a great photo.
Thank you You might want to look at Ed Kashi’s National Geographic Live presentation on eye contact http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5l5fcj_9XK4
The letter or numeral between the two 5s might be a 1. If that doesn’t work Google it. Enjoy
I would love to delve into street photography, but I’m too nervous to approach folks to ask if I can take their pic….
I understand that it can be a bit anxiety driven but I find people are willing and sometimes literally I’m shooting from the hip. Asking someone if it’s okay can spoil the spontaneity of the movement. Try it find a suitable spot with a good background and wait for the action to move by you. Best with all of your photographic endeavors.
A lovely street portrait. You have captured a telling moment.
Otto, thank you. That means a lot coming from you.
Thank you. Right place right time
Yes, you’ve been spotted Tim. That eye contact is very important for the success of this photo.
I was and I agree. Her look was really special. It made the image a bit risqué.
