Well book your tickets.
It is a beautiful site and not that many people know about it. The Santa Rosa Photographic Society and I will be working with this not for profit group this summer. We’ll be photographing their iRead project. They are encouraging families to read together in sites like the redwoods. It should be fun.
Beautiful capture! The contrast in the colours and the lighting is fantastic! Love it!

Yes it was. Fortunately this is only about 45 minutes from my house. It’s preserved by the Landpaths group and is open free to the public.

Ed, thank you. I’d always wanted to walk in the redwoods when it was raining. Here was my chance.

The mist adds a special touch to that wonderful forest.

It was raining and the cloud cover was very low at this elevation. At times you couldn’t see the tops of the redwood trees. It was a lovely walk.
