Yeunny Mears, makes some of the most beautiful and colorful clothes using natural fabrics. She was born in Korea and her mother was a silk maker. She is 70 and enjoys making colorful clothing. You can see her creations and visit with her at her shop in Bodega Village, California Tuesday through Sunday from 10 to 6.
Lovely smile!
She is a lovely person and her creations are beautiful. We went in to take a quick look and stayed a lot longer enjoying her stories and enthusiasm.
Ah, now I have yet another excuse to stop in Bodega next time we head over to the coast — thank you! 😤
You’re welcome and I think you’ll enjoy visiting with her.
Wonderful..!!!
Thank you. She is a wonderful person.
Sympathetic and warm portrait Tim.
John, thank you. I’ll be going back but I’m not satisfied with the focus. More images to take in slightly different light.
Age, I have discovered is not a limiting factor 🙂
Yes, I totally agree with you.
I have been blessed by meeting her and remember the time spent in her company as one of those memorable events in life. Wearing her clothes makes you feel special, as the love she puts in making them can be felt!
She is quite an interesting person. We stayed long enough to hear some of her stories. A very nice woman.
I stopped in today, and when I stepped through the door, I found myself on a mountaintop talking to a monk in the form of a hummingbird—what a glorious human being! What an amazing conversation! What a gift!
That’s delightful.
