Looks like you had a good time at a reenactment Tim! A bunch of years ago, I went to the French & Indian War Encampment at Fort Ticonderoga across the lake in New York. Hundred of reenactors ranging from French, British, to Native Americans, were in attendance in full regalia. They did several mock battles during the day with muskets and canon. It was quite thrilling. And smokey!
John, this must have been something to see. I spent almost a week in Northern Ohio studying that war with a group from the National Endowment for the Humanities. There were some individuals at National Parks dressed in costume but not a whole reenactment. Wow. Thanks for letting me know. Something to try to find for the future.
