Yes, they are. I’m hoping that before we leave this area, the California poppies at the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve are in full bloom. Here is the link to the Reserve http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=627

I had to look up Anza Borrego to see where it was. Unfortunately, too far for me to go on this trip. I hope for your sake it is beautiful this spring. When you go, I hope you take images and share them with all of us.
