Is this at the Oakland Aviation Museum?

No it is located in Palmdale California. Many of the aircraft were made at the aircraft plants located in the Palmdale/Lancaster area. Here is the link http://www.cityofpalmdale.org/airpark

I see. Thanks for the link. If you haven’t been to the Oakland Aviation Museum, that’s really a neat place although very small.

I do need to get there. There is also the air museum at the Santa Rosa Airport. They host the annual Wings Over Wine Country airshow. Well worth seeing.

Oh the airshow sounds fun. It would be a good camera club outing!

Thank you, I was not entirely sure on the cropping. I kept reworking it. There were some additional Air Force aircraft at the West gate of Edwards Air Force Base that I photographed this afternoon. There’s a shocking number of military aircraft on display in various places around here. I think I’ve seen close 30. Some of these are experimental. Then there are maybe over 30 large commercial airplanes in open storage at the Mojave Airport – not accessible but very visible.
