Thats a beauty!!
Yes, it is. This was one of the cars that the museum houses for sale. The owner is asking $169.500 for it. I suspect that selling cars is a way to show odd stunning cars and earn some money. It is a fantastic museum with stunning collection. More images to come from my visit.
I look forward to upcomming posts!
Lena, thank you. I’m hoping to put a series of images together before heading to Taiwan on Monday.
Here’s looking at you kid? You light up my life? 😉
The California Automobile Museum might be a great place for a TAPG field trip. A bit far but their collection is outstanding. I’d send an email to Creighton but I suspect my emails are going into his Junk box. I never get a reply from him.
Do we get to see the full car? I hope so!! So cool
Actually no. It’s position did not lend itself to being photographed. You can see it in a picture on the California Automobile Museum’s website. Its in one of the banner images. It’s blue and has a 8×11 paper in the wind screen. Their webpage address was in the caption of the picture I posted.
Ok thanks. I’ve never heard of this auto before.
Do a Google or search engine and you’ll see some beauties.
Just did and those are some pointy fins!!!
This great. I love how you cropped the photo. The lines and colour are lovely, too.
Thank you. I’ve got quite a few shots of this trying to get angles where they made sense.
So curvy and voluptuous.
Chris, it is quite that indeed.
Exiting, both the car and the picture.
Jim thank you. I’m having fun with these.
Cars in their Baroque or Rococo period. Scary and comic at the same time. When style was everything.
Very true. You really should make a visit to this auto museum, if only through its website. It is so worth it.
I like old cars and they make interesting subjects. It’s funny, but I have a car in todays post that comes up in less than an hour!
I’ll look for it.
You saw the ’55 Chevy that I posted. I’m thinking about starting a small business photographing these classic cars at night. There might be some interest there. At least I’d get a chance to see some great cars.
Also, I’ve seen some interesting post processing done on them as well…..lots of opportunities.
Thanks, first I need to get through a couple of months in Taiwan. There is a big car show near Santa Rosa that I want to attend. I’ll keep you posted.
