Hood Ornament and Emblem 1949 DeSoto Carryall Sedan – ’49 Cadillac Reflected in the Hood California Automobile Museum – http://www.calautomuseum.org – Sacramento, California, U.S.A. – March 31, 2016
Marso, thank you. It was fun taking these images. There were so many cars by the time got around to all of them I’d gotten a bit tired and less discriminatory.
It is great the museum is close to where you live. I hope you will enjoy it.
Really a great close-up of a beautiful car. We had a de soto when I was a kid. Not this model though, but it eas also green.

I like all your automobile shots, Tim, and I’m glad you mentioned the museum—close enough for me to visit!

It was time a time with when design was very important. Today it seems that aerodynamics is more important.
