  1. I went to the link you shared and was intrigued by the work being done in the wetlands. Wonderful photos documenting the project. Thanks for sharing, Timothy. 🙂

    • Olga, thank you so much for spending time exploring the Cheng-Long Wetland site. Jane has been very careful in her selection of artist over the last seven year. The art work has done a lot to make the village blossom. I hope you will visit again. Jane makes posting almost every day.

  2. splendid, such contrast of vibrancy and darkness, one of those photos that balance so much “going on,” the eyes moving to take in the objects, the details, yet eliciting a sense of simplicity, of “this is the way things are.”

  3. Extraordinary beautiful light. And such a well composed landscape/urbanscape. Those three “cages” or whatever they are to the left creates a feeling of mystery.

    • Otto, thank you. The three bottle shapes are done by Roger Rigorth from Germany. He completed them last year. They made of bamboo strips split into 8 parts from the original round form. The villagers have fallen in love with them. Also, they have become a destination site for photographers.

    • Thank you. This was a challenging shot – done at night in low light. They were somewhat still but children at the little one’s age are never really still.
