Awesome portrait, I guess you can call it a portrait, even it is a giraffe 😉 ? Beautiful, so sharp. And it looks like the slope of Mount Meru in the background! Thanks for sharing!
Marcus, thank you. From one giraffe to another, ya on the portrait. Not sure on Mount Meru.
Nice portrait! You must have been close!
As I remember about 10 meters.
I can see Kilimanjaro in the background! Giraffes are always photogenic. Good job, Tim. –Curt
Curt thank you. Not sure about what mountain it was.
Not sure about the park, but the city of Arusha sits on its flank. –Curt
It does. We a little be of walking I could see it from where we stayed in Arusha.
I bought a meerschaum pipe in Arusha, which I started smoking as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Liberia. Took me several years to break the habit! –Curt
It does appear that you have had some positive experiences – particularly with travel.
Lots of them, Tim. I am never happier than when I am on the the road, or hiking down a wilderness trail.
