Super beautiful photo, love the water colours!
John, thank you. I was fortunate that the person was on the beach. Toward the upper end of the beach are a large number of sea lions. I’m not sure the individual was aware of this but if he was he was being a bit foolish. I did not wait around to see.

Those Sea Lions bite I’ll bet if you get too close to the pups! I wouldn’t get close at all.
I totally agree. They seem large but I’m not sure I’d want to do a race with them on dry sand.
Oh heck no, Tim! Wild means wild, don’t ever mess with wild. Let them live as wild and pure as possible. 👍🏻
Gorgeous image and composition, Tim. Right up my alley with tiny humans on the landscape. 😉
Jane, thank you. I was fortunate that he was there. He sure gave the image scale.
Lovely Tim! The colors, composition, and scale really come together!
John, thank you. The weather that day was quite mild and people were out enjoying it.
It brings me right in, Tim. Makes me want to be there. –Curt
Curt, thank you. It is a nice thought to be there but further up the beach are over 100 sea lions with pups. I think I’d have second thoughts knowing they were there.
Well, I really like sea lions and pups, too. From an appropriate distance, of course.
Yes, the distance is important.
Great beach photo, Tim! I will drive to the coast tomorrow for some ocean hiking 🙂
I hope you had a great time. Neskowin beach is my favorite.
Thanks 🙂 ! Post about the hike is up! Have a good week, Tim!
I’ll be looking.
