The state is maintaining many of the buildings in a state of arrested time. They are correcting deterioration with authentic material that would be used by the people who lived there. A real challenge and requiring unusual skills.
Love the contrast between the power line (the several poles give an idea of movement) and the dilapidated house (stuck in the desert) Great choice of B&W. Thank you, Tim!
