  1. Living at Cascade Head Ranch I’ve been fortunate to have had two incredible photographers as neighbors Ned Westover and Jack Doyle. In my opinion, their work pales in comparison

    • Kai thank you for your complements. I’ve spent the better part of 10 years living in Taiwan. I retired from one of the universities in 2012 and now live in the U.S. Photography has always been a serious avocation but I’m now pursuing it more fully.

      • It is, like yours too. I remember a flight I made from New York to San Francisco. I was moved by the sheer vastness of the USA. Never forgotten the feeling I had on that trip.

      • Yes on big. 6 hours from Boston to San Francisco. You can drive it in 5 days if you really really really wanted to do it that way. Not recommended. I hope you enjoyed your time in the U.S.A. I believe I would enjoy seeing South Africa. It appears to be such an ecologically diverse country with many opportunities to photograh. Thanks for commenting, taking so much time to see my blog and then following it. Best, to all of your photographic endeavors.

    • These brushes are generally used for ink painting. The store is located in Taichung, Taiwan. The brushes this store sells are made in China, Taiwan and Japan. They range in size from very small to very large arm holding. Good luck in locating brushes. Also, thank you for spending time looking around my blog and then following me.

      • It can be a challenge. If you can go to parades and events where people dress up it might be easier. They expect to be photographed. Halloween would be a great opportunity.
