This Area Was Heavily Damaged from the October Fires in Santa Rosa Sonoma County, California, U.S.A. The photo was taken, January 5, 2018. A replacement for this house is now under construction. The exhibition is at the Finley Community Center, Person Senior Wing, 2060 West College Ave, San Rosa, CA., September 4 – October 10, 2019.
Bombarded

From 1949 into the 1950s the People’s Republic of China (PRC) bombarded the island of Kinmen located in the Taiwan Straits and in possession of the Republic of China (ROC). This and other buildings remain as a memorial to those events and the lives lost. Kinmen, Taiwan December 30, 2004.

My Eastern Sierra Photos in a Group Exhibition

I’m in this group exhibition that opens Friday December 1 from 5-7 pm at the Red Shoes Gallery in Santa Rosa, CA. You can also see the exhibition on Saturday and Sunday December 2 & 3 from 1 – 3 pm. I have 6 photographs from my Eastern Sierras series with an emphasis on fall colors. They are all on metal and under $99 dollars each. I hope to see you there.

Portrait of a ChengLong Villager – Exhibited in “Waterland” in Fremantle, Australia

This image and 11 other of my portraits of ChengLong villagers will be included in a sound art exhibition by Yen-ting Hsu, entitled “Sounds Delicious”.
This exhibit from May 4 -17, 2015 is from Hsu’s residency at ChengLong Wetlands International Environmental Art Project in 2012. She is now an artist in residence at the Fremantle Art Center. She selected 12 portraits of Chenglong villagers I took between 2012 and 2015. “Sounds Delicious” investigates how food is grown in ChengLong Village, Taiwan. This is the triptych at the entrance of my photography exhibition titled “Landscape” The title is “Chinese Banyans”. The trees were photographed in Chiayi County, Taiwan. The size is 26″ x 60″ or 66 cm x 155 cm.
