Intensity:

This is California poppy radiates its color. Normally they are a solid gold but this one has edges of yellow.

The red-crested turaco is a turaco, a group of African Otidimorphae birds. It is a frugivorous bird endemic to western Angola. Its call sounds somewhat like a jungle monkey. Wikipedia

Resting

I found this little flower growing in some grass in one of my neighborhood parkways. The raindrops seemed to glisten, and the petals are translucent.
