I visited Tillamook Naval Air Base’s blimp hanger today – 10-29-2013. This is a picture of part of the hanger’s wooden roof structure and door. The hanger when completed in 1942 held 8 blimps. If you click on this link http://www.nastillamook.org/index.htm, you will be taken to the National Air Station Tillamook’s home page. More photos of the Air Musuem’s collection will follow.
