Sacramento Valley Grain Elevator – color & b&w
Sacramento Valley Grain Elevator at Sunset
Sacramento Valley Grain Elevator at Sunset, B&W
I am playing with the b&w for the same image as the color. I am not sure which one I like the best. Your thoughts are welcome.
The lighting is great in the first one., Its lost in the B&W, that said its a very good B&W.

Thank you Victor. I’ve got a stronger comfort level with color. That means I need to spend more time learning b&w.

I agree with Victor. The golden light becomes the main subject in the first which is lost in the second. Side by side, I would go for the color version.

I have to go with the color version too. Love the sun reflecting its light.

Jude, thank you. Images taken at sunset and sunrise are very appealing when in color. I just published another sunset image of the power distribution towers at a PG&E sub-power station in Petaluma, California. I did not even try to do a B&W.
Thanks again for taking the time to compare and comment. It means a lot.
