Tim, What an incredibly rich, diverse, photogenic world we love in. It’s a privilege to know you and Jane and follow your adventures all over planet earth. The two of you together are a gift and a treasure. Be safe, be happy. Lynn
Lynn, thank you for your kind words. I’ll your passage with Jane.
Living at Cascade Head Ranch I’ve been fortunate to have had two incredible photographers as neighbors Ned Westover and Jack Doyle. In my opinion, their work pales in comparison
Hi Dean, thank you for spending so much time looking around my blog. I’m flattered to have someone spend as much time as you did.
Thank you for your high complement. If you get a chance to come down to the Sitka Center before we leave on Thursday it would give a chance to thank you personally.
Hi Eddie, of course I remember you. Thank you on your complement. You’re not still working for Block Buster are you? I’ll be at Hsuiping next week. Tuesday – Thursday doing some lectures. Check with the Applied English office for exact time.
You are an amazing photographer! Do you make a living out of taking photos? BTW, it seems to me that you live in Asia?
Cheers! Enjoyed every photo on this blog!
Kai thank you for your complements. I’ve spent the better part of 10 years living in Taiwan. I retired from one of the universities in 2012 and now live in the U.S. Photography has always been a serious avocation but I’m now pursuing it more fully.
Thank you visiting and following my blog.

It is, like yours too. I remember a flight I made from New York to San Francisco. I was moved by the sheer vastness of the USA. Never forgotten the feeling I had on that trip.
Yes on big. 6 hours from Boston to San Francisco. You can drive it in 5 days if you really really really wanted to do it that way. Not recommended. I hope you enjoyed your time in the U.S.A. I believe I would enjoy seeing South Africa. It appears to be such an ecologically diverse country with many opportunities to photograh. Thanks for commenting, taking so much time to see my blog and then following it. Best, to all of your photographic endeavors.
Yes I did enjoy it, very much. Thanks for the chat. 🙂
thank you for the like. Your photography is outstanding
These brushes are generally used for ink painting. The store is located in Taichung, Taiwan. The brushes this store sells are made in China, Taiwan and Japan. They range in size from very small to very large arm holding. Good luck in locating brushes. Also, thank you for spending time looking around my blog and then following me.

I am never comfortable taking pictures of people, afraid they might object I guess…either that or I’m shy.
It can be a challenge. If you can go to parades and events where people dress up it might be easier. They expect to be photographed. Halloween would be a great opportunity.
LemonChronicle, thank you for spending time wandering around my blog and then for thinking enough of it to follow it.
I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one to enjoy taking photos of found objects.
Best with all of your blogging endeavors.
