This is very nice… I see , from the comment that you used NIK. I actually like the NIK filters. Especially more than Topaz. However, Topaz has some very cool B&W effects
John, thank you. This is a good example of working the shot. Many taken until the three stood out. Cropping helped. I’m still not sure about the white poles. I guess they add to the lines.
There is a crystal clear, surreal quality to this photograph that I really like. The glass is so clean, the water like a painting. Lovely photo, Tim.

A very nice capture! I love how you can see the details of the lights and the water through the glass.

Interesting lights. I’ve never seen any quite like them.

They are large and I was told that the people on these boats need to wear sunglasses at night they are so bright when lit. I just publish a photo of boat docked that have these lights. Here is the link https://allentimphotos2.wordpress.com/2015/06/14/fishing-with-lights/

I too like NIK. I’ve not tried Topaz but when looking at their website I found them to be a bit pricy.

They are pricy indeed. Some of the filters are not bad. Some can be a bit gimmicky, I feel.

Totally like this with its blurred background. You certainly chose the right filter. Love this, Tim.
