Brenda, we’re fortunate to have these beautiful California Life Oak trees. They are particularly dramatic during the period when they have no leaves.

The oak trees that grow in the southeast, while massive and beautiful, seem to have less character. Regrettably their roots are not deep thus they often are uprooted during storms.

I’m familiar with those trees. As I remember they have a lot of Spanish moss on them. They are beautiful.
