I had fun at Bodie shooting reflection shots in the windows. Several had tattered drapes. The combination of other old buildings and the drapes created a very ghost-like feel. –Curt

Yes, it is. I’d like to go on one of their night events if the moon and the starts are right. Light painting some of the buildings could also create some fantastic results.

Agreed. Given the structures and the surrounding country, a full moon night would have a lot of potential.

The full moon could be fascinating. However, I was thinking of a no moon situation where I could get the Milky Way and light paint something interesting in the foreground. Either would be fun. Timed right with a moon rising later or setting earlier would be a double bonus.
