Oh it is. Some of what mountain snow the Sierra Nevadas got drains into the lake.There is only one outlet, the Truckee River. It’s not big.
I’ve photographed the Truckee river at Donner Pass if I’m not mistaken.
Yes, it is close to Donner Pass but a bit further East. It comes out of Lake Tahoe and CA Hwy 89 follows it to Truckee and the I-80 parallels it until it turns off north to fill Pyramid Lake in Nevada.
