Thank you. I wanted to try something different. There are not that many different obvious things to take photos of and this seemed a good opportunity to try something in a different way.
Nice! Have had a like image in the back of my mind for awhile after seeing some stunning surf photography in a local gallery some months ago. And there it sits, a figment of my imagination. Then, lo! You’ve done one! Great timing. Great tonality.

RAW gives you much more from your camera. Shooting in JPEG your camera compresses your files whereas RAW does not. Here is a You Tube video that can do a much better job of explaining the advantage of RAW https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zlij5als554
