Thank you, Joshi. I was trying something different here. I took three HDR images during the blue hour but they resulted in a very flat image. Then decided to shift to b&w with a blue tint. It seems to work but I’m not entirely happy with it.

I’d love to see the original. In the blue hour light.

The light was very flat and almost white. No real blue hour in a darkening blue sky existed. The “Party” image is one of those rare occasions when you’ve got really good light.

Fitting mood for me seeing this today. It is raining. You must be prescient.

Sorry to hear that but rain is needed. It’s been rather hot and humid here. No air-conditioning. Rough getting to sleep.
Try to stay dry.

No problem. Only morning showers. Would have been a good puffy clouds photo op in the afternoon but I had other obligations. Saw something as a part of that that may interest you. Sent a separate message. Hope the heat moderates and you can get some better sleep.

Thanks it has a bit but a blowup mattress on a box spring is a challenge to most bodies. At least it’s a bed and not a quilt on the floor. Three more nights then one night in an excellent bed at a friends and then on to Bali. As I remember where we are staying has excellent beds.

Does the bridge end “prematurely” to prevent pedestrians from getting too close to the sculptural installation?
LikeLike
Yes. It’s really not a bridge but a walkway to a viewing site for the three bottles a bit more closely than the road. People were stopping on the one lane road to take pictures and blocking traffic. The villagers have gotten into the habit of calling it a bridge. It may be a translation problem from Taiwanese to English.

Nice! I wonder what those three net like things on the left are?

Thank you. Those three objects are sculptures by a Swiss artists. The caption to the photo has more information.
