Wow, thanks for the link, Tim, that’s a big aircraft graveyard! I would take the 15 freeway from Vegas down there, probably go west before the Cajon Pass.
You may want to check with the Port and see when they offer tours. As I remember it was only once a month. Unfortunately, I was not there at the time of the tour. However, there are a lot of other places to see military aircraft.
Thank you for the tip, Tim. Big or small, I love them all! I was so saddened to see the Antanov aircraft was destroyed in the terrible war in Ukraine. More concerned for the people of course, Putin is evil.
I guess that ups your desire to go. I’m pleased that I could share this information. Enjoy and I look forward to seeing your photos. If you desire, you should be able to find a number of my airplane photos from that area on my wordpress site.
Stabilising and control surfaces, I love aircraft!

John, you really need to take a couple of day trip to the Lancaster, CA area. This was and still is a big production area for military aircraft. The Mojave Air and Space Port is a site for dead aircraft. This is a Google Earth view of the commercial airplane storage area. https://earth.google.com/web/search/Mojave,+CA/@35.0639155,-118.14644542,838.58663538a,725.58656853d,35y,0h,0t,0r/data=CigiJgokCcGKZEHmYENAEdHNSWouM4Q_GdknDPymnmVAIbIeZHhpiGTA
