“almost hunted to extinction”: I just read that the meat of this bird is prized, and it tastes better than turkey meat. Maybe that’s why it is endangered.

How exciting to get this beautiful capture on camera! Is that a Mohawk of feathers?

It was exciting. It was pretty dark and there was too much noise. That is quite a Mohawk.
