There is so much color in this photo, Tim, so beautiful! So much better then the fog we’ve been having for days. And the forecast for Portland for next week calls for 5 days of rain. At least I will get to see the sun from the plane on Monday 🙂

I was fortunate that the light was beautiful there. We did have one day when the fires in the area obscured the light.
Portland and Oregon are known for their rainy weather at this time of the year. Try to stay dry.

You are so fortunate Tim, to have access to a landscape with such scale which is even evident amongst these smaller mountains. A clear light too despite the wildfires.

John it is about 4 to 6 hours of travel to get to these mountains. During the winter some of the roads are closed because of snow. They are beautiful.
